Difference in driver, drill, impact drill?
What is the difference in these 3?
impact drill-screwing in screws
drill/driver are good for drilling?
Am i correct?
A driver is a Screw Gun used in high torque operations. Usually the have adjustable torque settings and are not very handy unless you are running long screws etc.
A drill/driver is used to drill, tap, drive and drive screws in light duty operations. Most Cordless Drill/drivers come with an adjustable clutch to prevent stripping screws.(That is the disadvantage of the other two)
Impact Drill? I have never really heard it called anything but an Impact Driver. This tool is used for Driving long screws, self tapping screws and any other fastener that would require impact along with rotation.
